A few weeks ago, we talked about the Iranian restaurant Mazeh, located in the Commerce district. Today, we would like to introduce you to AlKaram, another restaurant offering Middle Eastern cuisine, located just a few steps away from the Hotel Moderniste, right in the heart of the 15ᵉ arrondissement of Paris!
Egyptian history and culture have fascinated everyone for centuries, and they are very precious for Parisians! Just think that the Louvre Museum includes one of the richest departments dedicated to Egyptian antiquities. On top of that, this spring, the City of Light will host the European premiere of the International “Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition featuring more than 180 treasures from Ancient Egypt.

During the creation of the Modernist Hotel and thanks to the meticulous work of the decorator Patrice Henry, we paid particular attention to every detail of the interior design, inspired by the artistic effervescence of Paris in the 1930s. The hotel presents a mix of clean lines, geometries, modern materials and timeless elegance that make it a unique place to stay.
We decided to add a sophisticated touch in all the rooms with the designs of Robert Mallet-Stevens.

The Musée de l'Homme offers a must-see exhibition entitled “Arts and Prehistory”, which will take you on a real journey through time. This exhibition features over 90 works of prehistoric art from around the world as well as digital representations of paintings and engravings. By combining the digital world and the prehistoric era, the exhibition shows how art is a basic human need.
