Ten Days to Explore Creativity in Paris
The must-attend event for design and decoration enthusiasts is back in Paris! From September 10 to 19, 2026, the city transforms into a creative playground with Paris Design Week, a premier event that promises to inspire with its exhibitions, conferences, and original artistic installations. This edition offers a unique opportunity to discover the latest design trends and immerse yourself in a world where imagination and innovation take center stage.
Running alongside Maison&Objet
Held alongside the Maison&Objet trade show (September 10-14, 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center), Paris Design Week highlights the diversity of design disciplines: furniture, architecture, fashion, new technologies, and contemporary art.
This year's theme, "Pulse in Motion", invites visitors to explore design in motion—bold, sensitive, and sustainable. Iconic Parisian venues, such as the Hôtel de Sully, where Irish sculptor Joseph Walsh is this year's guest of honour, and the Grand Palais, home to a monumental floral installation by Uchronia, are transformed into immersive stages where artistic installations and sensory experiences come together.
A Rich and Diverse Program
This edition brings together close to 600 designers and creators, from renowned names to emerging talents, spread across four spotlighted neighbourhoods: Le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Opéra, and Bastille. Through workshops, showrooms, and exhibitions, visitors can discover unique pieces and innovative collaborations that combine art, craftsmanship, and modernity, including, new for this edition, the Musée Bourdelle, joining the trail for the first time.
An International Perspective
Paris Design Week also showcases global talent. Cultural institutes, including the Swedish Institute (exhibition "Tout est en ordre", 2 September–4 October) and the Finnish Institute (exhibition "Gulahallat", 11 September–24 October), present their unique design visions, making Paris a global hub where cultures and ideas converge.
Explore the City Differently
Beyond exhibitions, Paris itself becomes a canvas for artistic expression. Iconic locations such as the Arc de Triomphe, whose acrotère opens to the public for the first time since 1836—and the Hôtel de la Marine are transformed into extraordinary spaces for installations, inviting visitors to discover new inspirations at every corner.
