The first, designed by Alain Delavie, editorial director of Rustica and a passionate lover of the botanical world, takes you on a journey through a selection of exotic and rare specimens. The second path, imagined by the gardeners of the Grandes Serres of the Jardin des Plantes and the Arboretum of Versailles-Chèvreloup, invites you to discover the diversity of orchids through a spectacular mise-en-scène.
Throughout your visit, you will be amazed by hundreds of specimens of wild and horticultural orchids, displayed in an impressive botanical scenography covering 1000 m². Educational animations allow you to delve into the mysteries of wild orchids and learn more about their care and repotting. Whether you are a novice or an expert, these fun and informative activities offer you the opportunity to discover orchids in a new light.
To extend the experience, don't miss the temporary boutique of 150 m² where you will find a selection of beautiful orchid specimens offered by passionate specialists.
Whether you are a seasoned orchid enthusiast or simply curious, the "Orchids at the Jardin des Plantes" exhibition is a must-see event. Five French orchid producers exhibit original plants in colorful and abundant settings, offering a unique visual and olfactory experience. Two associations, the Fédération France Orchidées and the Association Française, Culture et Protection des Orchidées, are also present to answer your questions and provide valuable advice on the cultivation and care of these exceptional flowers.
