Moored at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, Francette is a floating restaurant set aboard a docked boat. A unique and vibrant place, it offers a true escape in the heart of Paris, with three distinct spaces open year-round. On the rooftop, a penthouse provides panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower—ideal for a laid-back drink or a sunset apéritif. Inside, the restaurant celebrates French cuisine led by chef Marie Pacotte, who highlights seasonal ingredients sourced from responsible producers. Below deck, a cozy wine bar tucked into the hull features a carefully curated selection in a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Responsible and committed cuisine
What we love about Francette is their dedication to ingredient sourcing. The chef serves no fish from trawling or endangered species. All meats are raised and processed in France. A significant portion of the fruits and vegetables comes from environmentally conscious agriculture, and a partnership with the company Atypique helps rescue several hundred kilos of organic produce each month that would otherwise be discarded due to size or appearance. These decisions reflect a desire to offer high-quality cuisine while reducing food waste and minimizing environmental impact.
Recognition for sustainable dining
In 2025, Francette was awarded its second Écotable macaron, a major distinction in the world of sustainable gastronomy. The Écotable label is based on a rigorous audit assessing the social and environmental impact of restaurants. To reach this level, Francette demonstrated a strong commitment to local sourcing, CO₂ emissions reduction, waste management, and staff well-being. This recognition highlights deep-rooted values, visible both in ingredient selection and in the thoughtful design of the culinary experience.
